We’re on a roll! This next post addresses a common misconception about meditation and clears up something many of us wrestle with: how do I know if I actually meditated—or if I was just daydreaming, drifting, or dozing off?
Here’s the litmus test. At the end of your session, ask yourself:
➡️ Was I focused (Concentrated/Absorbed)?
➡️ Did I feel Peace?
➡️ Was there a sense of Joy?
If any one of these was present for some of the time, chances are you had a real meditation session. If none were present, it might’ve just been mental meandering. (Still okay.)
